First dates. They can be amazing, and they can be horrible. Sometimes in between.
How can you avoid being a horrible date or even in between?
How your waiters treat your appointment is always very revealing of their character. If they are interested in their lives, or just kind to them when they come to your table, this is always a good sign. “It’s better to avoid a man (or woman) who is actively unpleasant with the waiter. Ditto the ones who patronize them. Equally bad, though, are the people who treat the waiters as if they were invisible.”
Don’t be negative. I’m not saying you have to pretend your life is perfect, but no one wants to date a Debbie Downer. Don’t start dating by talking about bad traffic, how it’s too cold outside, or how you had a frustrating meeting with your coworker today. Stay focused on the good things, get interested, and maybe talk about the things that excite you.
Watch out for drinks. It’s always a good idea to have a drink or two on a date, to feel more comfortable and relaxed. It would lighten the conversation and mood. Once, you’re in drink 3, 4, or 5 (depending on your limit and the length of the date), you’re blurring the lines and not putting your best foot forward. You want to be aware and aware of what you are saying and how you are acting at all times. Don’t take the chance on a second date, because you drank too much.
Finally, don’t feel too comfortable too fast … this is especially for boys. You never want to physically push the boundaries and make your appointment uncomfortable. Being too sensitive on the first date can make some girls go for a run. Grab your horses, buddy. Read the signs. Above all, be respectful and make your date feel safe. It is a very attractive quality.
