When you think of loving a person, do you think of where the love comes from? Probably not because most of us feel that love is just a passing emotion. Well, at least we didn’t go down without explaining ourselves first.
Talk about love from a realistic point of view
Most of us wonder why our dating lives don’t really turn out the way we want them to. And that’s probably because we see love in a different way than it really is. So how do we see love?
1. Love is uncontrollable.
Most of us see love as that uncontrollable emotion that comes at random, at some point. We have no control over this. To some extent, this is true because we cannot avoid how we feel most of the time. However, we must remember that love is not a force that controls all the fibers of our being.
The next time you talk about love with your friends or family, think of it as an emotion you can deal with, so the next time you find someone interesting online, you can manage your emotions and take your time. .
2. Everything done for love is romantic.
Have you ever seen the movie “The Notebook”? Probably everyone has it. Ryan Gosling in the movie, if you don’t mind the whole romance, is chasing Rachel McAdams. However, we don’t really see it that way because they sell us the idea that everything done for love is romantic.
We can learn a lot from the situation and see things objectively if we see that they stop romanticizing the circumstances in which we find ourselves.
What do I do now?
You don’t have to do anything right now. Just being aware of how we view love is enough. As your perspective has changed, so will your behavior. Your way of talking about love will change. What follows is your behavior. You’ll be different, whether you like online or offline dating.
It’s important to see love as it really is. If we want things to be better in our dating lives, the best thing is for us to take off the pink glasses we see through love. For more dating tips, read more blog posts.
