What causes body image problems in high-performing women?

I had a lot of body image problems. We believe that we do not fit the standard of beauty and we want to fix it. The other side of the coin is that I fit in with the beauty standard, but not all. Therefore, I will try to change to be a little closer until I reach perfection. Ambitious women can focus on both their body and small imperfections and mental energy towards the appearance of their body.

How can women feel good about anything (or anything)?

A big part of femininity and beauty is the ability to be present with a man. If you’re worried about what you can’t eat or how you look, you’re not there. When you are distracted, you have no presence on the ground. When you don’t feel comfortable being yourself, no one is comfortable being yourself. Wouldn’t you rather be fully accepted for being yourself than for being something you are not? It’s hard to keep up.

Trust comes from your value and it is worth not relying on your appearance or being accepted and validated by your appearance. Ask yourself why you think it’s important to be accepted by your appearance. There is usually a childhood memory that makes us link our gaze to rejection.

Focus on how you want to express yourself right now. Which will seem more genuine to you. It’s a balance between comfort and something interesting. Let’s see what happens. Have a playful and experimental attitude.

How can we disarm body image triggers from childhood?

Food patterns and food stories are imprinted on our past. It is also telling someone that you are too thin or too heavy. Both are bodily shame. To disarm the triggers, know that your parents were doing their best. Not everyone is equipped to handle things in the best way. And if what our parents did wasn’t right. If I were the father, what would I feel?

You can find different truths about your past memories and reinforce them now. How do you want to talk to yourself to move forward? Be patient with yourself and your body.

How can we praise without hurting someone’s body image?

Congratulate them on their social virtues and character traits and the way they make you feel, not on their body.

What is your best advice for anyone who wants to go on their last date?

You have no control over when it will happen or if it will happen. Finding fun and experience in the process will help you along the way to enjoy yourself.
